Well the thing is most of these promoters around here that run weekly show actually do very little, to no, promoting at all. There's a few that just do a hotline, that's all they do.
You don't seem to be a fan of classic pro wrestling, I could be wrong, but that's the sense I get from you, but let me ask you a question, how did pro wrestling draw thousands weekly back in the day? Were the wrestlers running around putting flyers out? Hell no! They were in a different town every day. How the wrestlers promoted then was on the tv shows, especially with the promos, that was their advertisement, hoping the fans would want to see them win or lose bad enough to be compelled to buy a ticket. Same for the promoters really, tv was the main advertisement once wrestling television came into vogue. Do you know what "The angle is the dangle that heats the meat" means?
