Well,
I really can't give a full detailed report of the show since I did not pay attention to all of the matches.
But the NWA Main Event show in Portland Saturday night at the Richland Memorial Gym (not couunting wrestlers and personel) drew about 50 people.
The show last about 1 hour and 55 minutes with 5 matches.
I will give 3 highlights that were worth going for.
1. Jamie Dundee put on a pretty good show. With several times him putting on his antics of Halfy Face Jim Ross (as Jamie calls him in his shoot interview on Youtube)during the program. Although he was in the first match, he was the biggest name on the show. Should have been the main eventer and would have made a better heel.
2. Chris Garrett being the referee. It is fun to heckle Chris. He at first seemed to ignore everyone, but check this out! Chris says he is on his way to the WWE. Can't wait to see that.
3. The shoot fight (not a work) that went on after the show with White Tiger attacking this young kid wrestler (Can't remember his name) and beating him like a dog. Then so many others getting involved. Wow this was worth the price of admission.
Bert Prentice served as ring announcer and did several raffles.
All in all a decent show, (not what wrestling used to be) but I was entertained nonetheless.
