57 spent their Friday night at the beautiful downtown Stadium Inn. There was a ten bell done for Captain Lou Albano. JW Boogie Stratton is OUR USWO/ATL official for the evening.
Psycho Medic beat Convict in 4:00. C enjoyed checking out people's shoes. PM didn't care for this and complains, leading to C jumping him from behind. PM escapes a leg hold and lariats C for 2. After C misses a splash, PM hits the scalpel on him for the pin.
C crawls away on all fours.
Lee Cross beat Saint in 7:00. Hairpull debate cut short when S slides over and schoolboys LC for 2. S rear chinlocks then pulls LC up and kicks him. LC turns the tables and throws some kicks of his own. S hits a running kick and sets up the full nelson slam but LC slips out. LC tries an underhook suplex but S reverses into a rockbottom which LC pulls away from. LC pulls a chain and uppercuts S for the pin.
Commissioner Gordon brings out OUR USWO Tag Team Champions Matt Korbaine & Kevin Dunn. KD says they went through a lot of stuff to get the belts back but is interrupted by Damien Payne & Josh Crowe. DP says nobody cares about MK/KD or LT Falk & Wolfie D, which of course brings them out. LT calls JC/DP punks while WD is ready to fight! LT wants to shake hands with MK/KD but WD declines, saying they don't have squat on him (i.e. being a 16-time tag champ). WD puts on Chicken Hat's hat but takes it off and scratches his head, lol.
Travis Starr & Steven Green beat Dyron Flynn & Crusher Eric Hodge in 8:00. After and early flurry of offense by SG/TS, TS gets isolated as DF slams him for 2 then EH chips in on a double lariat. DF camel clutches TS then feeds him to EH for a big kneelift. TS/EH collide and we get TAGS! All 4 in as TS/SG get whipped together but do the do-si-do and rollup both opponents for stereo pins.
Bad Boy Dixon beat Jon Davis in 7:00. Gordon notes that BBD's mom is here selling his pictures! JD has considerably less hair than the last time he was here (2006?). JD shoulderblocks BBD then armbars him, BBD pulls JD over and snaps his neck on the top rope. BBD with a big boot for 2 then they roll out, where BBD bangs JD's head into the apron before going back in. BBD shoves JD to the corner but JD bounces off and hits a back elbow then fires up and monkeyflips BBD. JD goes for a second but BBD blocks it and puts his feet on the ropes to pin JD.
BBD's mom is all happy and stuff! JD would like to review the tape (not sure we have one) then tells BBD's mom to bring here boy back here next week for a rematch!
USWO Jr. Champion Shane Smalls beat Chic Canyon in 5:00. CC attacks as SS climbs onto the apron but SS slingshots himself over and sunset flips for 2 then crucifixes CC for 2. CC slings SS to the corner and targets the arm/shoulder area. CC hits a belly to belly suplex for 2 then hammerlocks, slamming SS on his shoulder for 2. CC goes for another slam but SS pulls him into a small package for the pin.
Tony speaks! He brings up "card is subject to change" in reference to the main event and announced that Wolfie D and Josh Crowe had left the building at intermission due to separate issues. Gordon comes out to reveal the rebuilt main event-Korbaine & Dunn vs Payne & Dixon for the tag belts.
Tommy Mercer b Chris Michaels by DQ in 15:00. Four people stand out of respect to CM but one is Chicken Hat, who gives him two thumbs down. TM is making his triumphant return to the Inn after spending last weekend with ROH. TM throws CM around and slams him, leading to a CM time out. CM challenges TM to a test of strength but they lock up and CM goes to the eyepoke of doom! TM comes out of the corner with a spear and sideslams CM for 2. CM leapfrogs and chopblocks TM then goes to work on the leg. CM figure fours but TM reverses it. CM makes the ropes and resumes the leg working as a shoe flies into the ring. TM fights his way out of the corner then catches the leapfrogging CM and bounces him off the top rope. TM lariats CM for 2 but CM responds with a belly to back suplex for 2. TM comes off the top with a snapmare but CM pushes him off and superkicks him for 2. CM is not pleased with Boogie's counting and throws him down hard. TM grabs CM and gives him a pump handle slam for a cover but Boogie is up and calls for the DQ due to CM's actions.
Tony says TM has a lot of promise and grants a rematch with 2 refs. TM gets exit music tonight since we didn't have any pyro for him
USWO Tag Team Champions Matt Korbaine & Kevin Dunn b Damien Payne & Bad Boy Dixon in 17:00. Gordon figures that BBD must have promised DP some pictures in exchange for getting to tag with him tonight. Lee Cross comes out with DP/BBD and LT Falk comes out with MK/KD. LT takes the mic and wants this to be 2 on 2 so if Gordon will bar LC from ringside, he will leave as well. Gordon obliges but then the three heels attack only to all three getting backdropped. LT drags LC to the back and the bell rings. DP makes BBD promise to hand his belt to Crowe if they should win and BBD agrees. MK electric chairs DP and rams his head into the turnbuckles then drops him and hits a split legged moonsault for 2. KD in to wheelbarrow slam MK onto DP for 2. KD German suplexes DP for 2 then joins MK in a double kneedrop. DP up to lariat MK thrice and send him to the floor where BBD stomps and tosses him back in. MK clotheslines both opponents and tags KD in. DP jumps KD from behind and chokes him in the ropes then stomps his head into the mat and dropkicks him for 2. BBD rear chinlocls KD and suplexes him before DP chucks him out. DP slams KD into a front row chair and suplexes him on the floor before throwing him back in. KD escapes a sleeper hold and titlawhirls DP out and we get TAGS! DP backdrops MK out so he and BBD can do a 3-D move on KD. MK slips back in and dropkicks BBD into DP, who rolls out. MK then covers BBD for the pin.
