68 attended the festivities at the beautiful downtown Stadium Inn. Our officials for the evening are JW Boogie Stratton and Jamie Ferrari.
Psycho Medic & Travis Starr beat Lee Cross & Convict in 7:00. TS dropkicks C then PM splashes him. PM flying tackles LC for 2 but C breaks that up. PL off the ropes and forearms PM which leads to brief double teaming. LC/PM lariat each other down then PM crawls over and we get TAGS! PM/LC spill out to the floor and PM drags LC to the back. TS bangs C's head into 3 turnbuckles then bulldogs him for the pin.
C initiates a sore loser attack! Steven Green runs out to make the save.
Bad Boy Dixon beat Saint in 6:00. Gordon says he signed S an easy match tonight. BBD ducks a big boot and rolls out but S slingshots him back in. BBD hits a big boot of his own and chokes S for a bit. S gets free and axe kicks BBD for a cover but BBD grabs the ropes. S grabs a full nelson but BBD mule kicks him in the groinular region, pulls a chain, and pops S with it for the pin.
LT Falk beat Shaun Tempers by DQ in 5:00. ST not happy with his perceived level of competition around here, so he issues an open challenge. LT comes out to talk and eventually gets around to accepting the challenge. LT opens up with armworking until ST backs him to the corner and bops him. LT takes down ST to the mat for a bit before ST gets free and catches LT off the ropes with a backbreaker. ST claws LT's face and squeezes his head before applying a rear chinlock. LT makes the ropes and comes off with a neckbreaker. Damien Payne & Josh Crowe run out and attack LT for the DQ.
Wolfie D and hubcap make the save. LT reminds them of their tag match later.
USWO Jr. Champion Shane Smalls beat Chic Canyon in 8:00. SS shoots out of the entrance and tears into CC. In the ring, SS dropkicks and kneelifts to send CC out then dives out after him. CC catches SS and Samoan drops him on the floor then rolls him back in, stretching him and pounding his back. CC slams SS belly first on the mat then suplexes him to the corner where he ends up in a tree of woe. CC sets SS on top but SS elbows him away but comes off right into CC's German suplex for 2. SS fires up but runs into a double kneelift and CC covers but ref JF catches his feet on the ropes. CC argues and SS neckbreakers him for the pin.
ATL Jr. Champion Lincoln Moseley beat Chris Michaels by DQ in 19:00. CM answers all of LM's early offense by claiming hairpulling. CM uses the hairpull to escape a headlock and rolls out for a time out. Back in, CM shoves his way out of an armbar then elbows and chokes LM before they both roll out. LM rams CM into the ringpost and they head back in the slug it out until CM hits the eyepoke of doom. LM runs into a boot and ends up tangles in the ropes where CM uses him for a punching bag until ref JF loosens him. CM suplexes LM and sets up for the superkicks but LM catches his leg and faceplants him for 2. CM misses a bronco buster and LM atomic drops him. LM does a tenpunch but bites CM at the finish. Ref JF warns LM about this, giving CM the chance to grab the title belt and hit LM upside the head for the DQ.
CM threatens ref JF as ref Boogie comes out. CM grabs JF, who reverse whips and hiptosses him! Gordon laughs at CM, who is taken aback by all this.
LT Falk & Wolfie D vs Damien Payne & Josh Crowe ended in a double pin in 14:00. This is a #1 contenders match, with the winners taking on OUR USWO Tag Team Champions Matt Korbaine & Kevin Dunn next week. WD catches DP and slams him for a cover but rolls away when he sees JC dropping an elbow, hitting DP instead! JC/DP roll out to regroup. JC exchanges arm holds with LT until LT tries a Gory stretch on JC. DP wanders in the break it up but ends up hitting JC. More regrouping ends with LT diving out onto them. Back in, LT underhook suplexes JC for 2 and WD tags in. JC shoves WD back into dp and when WD turns to face him, JC lariats him over the top rope. They briefly beat on WD until he bulldogs them simultaneously and tags LT. DP gives LT a running kneelift and drags him to the wrong corner to work on the leg. DP grapevines the leg then chucks LT out so JC can beat on him and roll him back in. DP goes for a sleeper but LT stunners out and we get TAGS! WD atomic drops JC then catapults him into DP. All 4 in and all 4 get 2 counts with finishers. JC sunset flips LT while WD sunset flips DP and ref Boogie counts both pins!
Anarchy! Tony complains about Boogie's reffing then decides to just put both teams in the match next week. WD says he's been in the ring with the best tag teams and JC/DP are wannabees! DP does not like the decision and tells JC to call their lawyer (Ben Dover? Phil McCracken?). DP then turns his wrath to cameraman Jocephus, attacking him and throwing his camera down. J fights back, clotheslining DP. Tony says J has been secretly training to wrestle! J says he got his wrestling boots in the mail today and wants him some of DP!
ATL Champion Ace Rockwell beat Jeff Daniels in 13:00. Dominique is absent tonight as is scheduled opponent Tommy Mercer. JD says a three way was scheduled but decides that AR is not worth his time nor does he care about the ATL Championship! JD says his only job here is to destroy TM, so he leaves. JD slips back in and jumps AR from behind and they brawl out in the lobby for a bit before making it back to the ring. JD announces that AR will receive TM's scheduled butt-whipping. JD beats on AR then talks trash to the patrons, allowing AR to slip in a schoolboy for 2. JD continues punishment until the both miss splashes and back out the go. AR fights back and bites JD's leg but JD slings him into the ringpost. Back in, JD grabs a sleeper hold but AR gets free. JD scoops up AR and carries him before slamming him for 2. Ref JF goes down as he was kicked in the head inadvertently by AR's leg during the slam. JD grabs the title belt but misses hitting AR, who comes off the top for 2. Ref JF now back up as JD goes for an abdominal stretch, using the ropes for leverage until JF catches him and kicks his hands away. JD applies an armbar/headscissors choke but AR makes the ropes. AR misses a splash and JD spinebusters him for 2. AR leapfrogs the charging JD and Ace cutters him for the pin.
JD claims tightpulling! He says AR didn't get his respect but got his attention. He promises bad things for AR.
