Cards based on Death Matches are not professional wrestling rather a small part (for a reason) of professional wrestling's three ring circus, and should be eliminated. Blood into more blood, risk leading to more risk, leads to injury after injury, due to a need to top the last stupid spot withy a more stupid spot featuring glass, barbed wire, etc. The crowd itself can be at risk as glass shards fly around. Best one can hope for is no wrestler or fan gets truly hurt, but usually someone does. Then there's the blood itself, blanketing the ring mat, unavoidable by everyone that follows the various bloodlettings. So whether a wrestler is involved in a blood match, he must regardless bump in blood, roll in blood, and take risks that are unnecessary. Likely no doctor was there, and likely no wrestler that bled had been tested. These type of cards are why wrestling gets regulated, as it is impossible to defend them to normal people, and even to most wrestling fans. Thank God again no one went to the hospital. Last time IWA Deep South ran in TN, two wrestlers went to the hospital, and at another recent "Death Match" type card a wrestler had to be airlifted to the hospital. These type of cards are bad for the business of professional wrestling.
