Re: I just got the Cable and original Marvel Girl
Well, ML from Marvel did repaints almost immediately like with Magneto being from the Iron Man, but I thought that was one of the best figures.
I, personally, don't see that as a repaint. If the same body style is used but has a new head and body additions, I tend to see them as new figures.
I would consider rereleasing the same figure with a different paint job as a repaint.
I think the Jean Grey figure will be a difficult to find figure in a short time, so I see that figure as more valuable from a collecting point of view. From a Summer's family tree fan, I like Jean as a step mother who raised Nathan.
: Look close the new Marvel Girl from the
: "Brood Queen" line has the same
: body sculpt as the jean grey in question.
: One of them has got to be a repaint. The
: same can be said for Cannonball (original
: Ghost Rider)and Domino (Rogue)figures. I
: bought them because they are the first and
: only so far of each, but I am disappointed
: that Hasbro has resorted to repaints after
: only 4 series.
