as a figure is cool, but as a character has been written so inconsistent. One thing that I found troubling in JLA/Avengers and how Kurt Busiek wrote Quicksilver in his Avengers run is that of Pietro as a constant complainer and blamer of others for his problems.
This is a guy who has survived his whole life in the face of oppression and took care of his sister and fought his own father.
Who'd think he'd be a more effective speedster than even the Flash because of his use of speed to survive, not just to "play" the role of hero. Also, with experience with the High Evolutionary and his own father, he should have a technical knowledge of his mutant ability far greater than most people as well as have a certain feel for energy manipulator. Maybe not seeing the magnetic forces or natural forces, but at the very least be very familiar with those unseen forces with his stint with the X-men, his wife, and his father.
I really like this figure because there is some regality about the figure that fits his true place in the Marvel Universe. He isn't just a Flash lite, he is Pietro, the Knight of Wundagore, the son of Magneto, and the father of an Inhuman!
