What is going on? Cap and Wolverine sets were good. What happened to painting and sculpture? Punisher's head, again, is not finished.

: Well one of the worst parts of the Iron
: Man/Mandarin Face Offs is the fact that they
: do not look in scale with the rest of the
: Marvel Legends. Iron Man looks tiny compared
: to all the other Iron Men, whether or not
: you try to make the argument that his armour
: is slimmer. He just looks more 5 1/2"
: scale than 6". And Mandarin has this
: stiff rubber gown that prevents him from
: doing anything with his arms other than
: having it extended all the time. You'd think
: that Toy Biz would've had both tons of
: experience and also other existing sculpts
: they could base the Mandarin off, from
: having made all these Lord of the Rings
: figures. But no, they went for an inferior
: rubber robe. I was looking forward to this
: set, but now I think I'll just get
    : Sabretooth.

: I like this board because nobody ever flames
: or ridicules. On the other boards, you can
: only hope. But here, we mostly manage to
: remember that these are TOYS. There's no
: reason to get emotionally involved.
    :
    : Now, then, about Face-Off. . . .
    :
: The War Machine-Mandarin set is the worst
: concoction I've seen from Marvel Legends.
: The sculpts are not finished and the paint
: job is horrible. There are drips and runs.
    :
    : Wolverine/Sabretooth is great. The
: Sabretooth figure is as close to the
: drawings as any figure has been. The
: Wolverine figure is average, but there's was
: no real need to re-invent that one.
