Re: Hercules, Juggernaut
Different joints? Oh . . . darn. (I'm only going to say darn, but you know what I mean.)
Hulk looks right -- a duplicate of War Hulk -- and so does Quicksilver. Thor looks like one of their best figures yet, assuming that helmet is removable. I've just about finished a Thor figure with beard and removable cape, vest and helmet. I may put it up on ebay soon or I may wait and see what Hasbro does. My figure was very expensive to make and I'd charge something like $25 and hope somebody really wanted that figure and would double that price. Hasbro will presumably not be more than $15 online and $9 at Toysrus.
I wish Toybiz was still doing it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
: Well there have been conflicting reports of
: how the new Hasbro figures are going to
: look. Some seem to suggest that they won't
: have the detailed paintjob of the Toybiz
: figures and so would end up looking
: extremely basic with just the moulded
: plastic. However, other reports say the
: paintjob will still be there. But I wonder
: how well the new figures will fit in with
: the old versions since they're having
: different, more cartoony-looking sculpts and
: slightly different joints.

: Does anyone else think the Hasbro figures
: like Hasbro's wrestling figures? If this is
: true, the quality is going to plummet. No
: detail in the arms, poor sculpt except for
: the legs, unarticulated hands.
: I hope I'm wrong. I use the Wrestling
: figures for their heads and legs for custom
: figures. Now the torsos are articulated in
: the dx aggression series, but I hope they
: get the ML paint job.
