Those were as bad as any figure ever made. No articulation, horrible paint job, totally off scale with any ML figure. Making him 14" tall was finally intellgent.
The next was ML 5 Sabretooth. He's too big, the hands are horrible, the arms are bad, the legs are too thin.
Next is a close call, but I'd say any of the figures that are too small, including Cable and Deadpool.
It's easy to fix Cable. Right arm from ML 3 Thor, left from ML 5 Colossus. Legs from ML 3 Thor, stick the second thigh swivel on after Cable's first yellow ring.
Drill a hole in the mantle and stick in the gun from ML War Machine's right shoulder and you have an excellent shoulder-mounted gun controlled by Cable's magic eye.
I'll send a pic. There's no painting involved, just putting the parts in place. I kept one, though I have not done the shoulder gun yet. I sold the first one.
I want to make a Deadpool figure that's the right size, but I wonder whether it will sell for anything like what it will cost to make.
I'm also doing a new Black Adam. ML 1 Cap (the best chest available, the right boots) with ML 3 Thor's arms and maybe ML Bishop's hands. He's hugely muscular in the book, so his arms should be gigantic. The head maybe either Cable (painted) or ML 1 Sub-Mariner (unpainted, better ears.)
: We've talked about our favorites, now let's
: hear the rest.
: Black Widow had to be one of the worst with
: that ugly neck articulation and hair.
