I thought there were 11 figures and only 10 were needed to make the figure.
Well, I just thought that was ridiculous, 10 figures. I'm still trying to find a Wolverine to finish my Apocolypse. Wolverine for crying out loud. :-)
: Buyer Beware - it's come to light that if you
: buy all the regular figures in the
: series--there's 9, including Ms. Marvel, the
: Sentry, Havok, and Captain Britain--you
: STILL will not get all the pieces necesarry
: to build the Giant Man-buiild-a-figure.
: Toy Biz apparently screwed up big time, and
: one has to find and purchase the very very
: short-packed VARIANT Wolverine AOA figure as
: well, which will be impossible for most
: people to actually find in Wal-Mart and
: other stores.
: So, what you'll end up with is a lop-sided,
: one-legged, one-armed, hand-missing, or even
: headless Giant Man (I'm not clear yet on
: which actual piece of Giant Man is missing
: from the set of 9 regular figures).
: Poor Hank Pym. He rarely gets a break.
: I thought everyone interested would want to
: know this to avoid what might be massive
: frustration and overspending, especially if
: you're buying some or all of the figures for
: the larger 14 inch Giant Man figure.
: By the way, the Wolverine and Sabertooth AOA
: figures are basically just simple retoolings
: of those released 10 years ago for an AOA
: line, and aren't very impressive; in fact,
: the originals were far better.
: Havok also looks rather ludicrous in his
: wonderful original costume; the white 'head
: piece' is about 3 times too big.
: If this has already been posted here, my
: apologies for the duplication of
