Hello everyone I have this situation I am not so sure of and would like to see if anyone has an answer.
I am a beginner model who is self searching for paid assignments. I have received offers whom has stated that I would need to provide my name,address,phone number (no P.O box)city,country so they could send me a check for so amount of dollars they had stated in their letter-some gave an estimate while others gave an amount. They told me once I received the check a photographer would contact me to arrange a date and place to meet for a shoot, and a meeting with the company to sign a contract would be done in the process.
I was wondering is this the way it is done? or can this be a scam?
