Which niche I should enter

How best to choose to which niche in the industry I belong in the modeling world. Before I enter this industry I would like a profile check and find out what I am suitable to so. I do not blunder into a niche which I or the industry finds unsuitable later. The fear of loosing time is really frightening. I do not want scouts or agencies discussing my age when I eventually find the right slot.
