I had surgery on 4-14 and did not know anything aboutpituitary tumors before so this experience is all new to me. I can't seem to get much information from the doctors or anyone else and came across this website so thought I would give it a try. Since coming home from the hospital of 04-19 I have suffered moods swings both high and low. They have me on hydrocortizone right now. Is there anyone out there who has gone through this same expereience who can tell me if this is normal. My tumor was a 2.5 macrodenoma. My endo told me I didn't need the surgery and it would shrink, but after three months on parlodel it didn't and after another MRI I was told by my neurosurgeon he was concerned about the size and location and also the prolactin level. So I opted for surgery.
