Yes Crystal, dizziness is a side affect. Whether large or small the LOCATION to me anyway, is the more important issue. I wish your doctor hadn't phrased the issue of living with a brain tumor as just "interfering with quality of life". I know these tumors are normally benign, but quality of life issues are huge if you are the one living them. My doctor once told me I would be hit by a bus first rather than my tumor doing it to me. What they don't say is some of the side affects of these tumors makes you wish a bus would just come along and take care of it! I do wish doctors would not phrase these situations in this way. Anyone living with these knows mentally what it does to you. Many times just waiting for the next side affect to show itself wears on you. The constant monitoring and feeling daily these symptoms knowing what they are from affects your whole life. Everyday is a challenge to live it normally. I would like to talk to someone who has had one of these tumors for 15 to 20 years and hear what they have to say. I would like to know some of their experiences so that I might be better prepared. Reta.
