John,am so sorry, has your eyesight returned? Not much info around concerning this tumor and what are the effects of it surrounding the carotid artery in the brain. Can it invade the artery? Things like that I want to know. The weight gain you mentioned is very typical with all of this, but not fun, consider it a side effect. Just had an MRI, am waiting on results,have delt with this for 15 years now. It has come back, had 30 rad. treatments 2 yrs. ago, now just monitoring. On steroids too plus growth hormone injections everyday. Not fun. Hang in there John! Reta.
