I would suggest you check out Dr. Vivianne Tabar at Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan. I just had my surgery on 2/20/08. I am home and doing quite well. Dr. Tabar is a "Pit" specialist at Sloan and she is very good. They will tell you what tests you need to take before going in to see her.
Her office number is 212.639.3006. Ask for her nurse Kara. When you get Kara, you can tell her that Gail Augustus referred you.
