Posted by Robert I also do not understand. I recently had a CT and MRI of the brain at two different hospitals for headaches. Two different radiologists worded the impression as "Findings consistent with a pituitary adenoma." So my next step was with a neurosurgeon. His findings was "No pituitary adenoma," but a mass around the right carotid artery in which he pointed out on my MRI. So why would two different radiologists state I have a pituitary adenoma? I am baffled also! Does a radiologist even know what a pituitary adenoma is?
