I previously posted a message that my tumor is reoccuring and that my neurosurgeon wanted to do the gama knife treatment. Well when I went back two weeks ago he had conferred with the oncologist and said that conventional radation would be best in my case sine the tumor is growing again close to the optic nerve and there would be less chance of damaging my eyesight. So I have seen the oncologist and am due to start treatment in a week after they do a Cat Scan and computer modeling tomorrow. Is there anyone who can tell me about this and what I can expect. Sometimes I feel like a human guinea pig. I had surgery in April 2005 to remove a 2.5 macrodenoma and now it is reoccuring.
