I was diagnosed November 2005 and put on bromocryptine. I still had problems with prolactinoma and then they Rx dostinex. I have NORMAL labs they say I'm in range but I continue with all the symptoms and tenderness. I have many friends that suggest going elsewhere other than the endocrynologist to see if I need surgery. At diagnosis in 11-05 I was at a 9. My last MRI 11-06 I was at an 8. I was told I need not go back for a check up for another year! If you had to do it over again would you opt for surgery or continued med management for symptoms?
