I had surgery in April of this year to remove pituitary tumor. All bloodwork shows there is no damage to the pituitary. I had MRI in July and saw the neurosurgeon today. He says thst there is something there that is smaller than the tumor and says that it is scar tissue. He wants me to have another MRI in six months. Does this sound normal.
Also I have glaucoma and my opthomologist tells me that I need to have regular visual field tests but it would be up to the neurosurgeon as to how often.
I asked the neurosurgeon when I saw him today and he seemed to think it was not necessary to do visual field tests and said that the MRI is more helpful.. Is there anyone out there who can give me sone advice on this.
