My daughters prolactin was never that high, she got her period within months of having it removed and had no medicine. Unfortunately her prolactin is creeping back up, seems that the tumor must be growing back. When they took her tumor did they take the whole thing or leave a little bit there because it would create a hole ? she had the surgery in NY, where did your daughter have her surgery ? They did tell us if my daughters period stops then we will have to proceed with something. My daughter cannot take dostinex or bromicriptine (sp ?) she has bad side effects from it. Does your daughter have constant headaches or other aches in pains in her body ? I cannot believe there is someone else out there finally that has a young daughter with similar types of issues. Thank you so much for your response. It is a constant worry.
