Hi everyone. My name is Courtney, and I am a recovering addict. Three years clean it'll be this December. So I can definitely relate to this story. I found out recently that my neice, Savanna, is shooting up heroin, and it is killing me. Although I have never done heroin, I know what it is like to be completely addicted, not caring about family or the right thing to do. She is only 20 years old, and her parents now know of her behavior. Although I truly think they are in denial and honestly don't know how to approach the situation. As for as I know heroin is the worst it can get. I don't want her to die. I do believe she is "sly" with getting away with not getting caught. I pray that she will slip sooner than later , so that it will be easier for her to quit. I pray that her parents open their eyes to see the destruction and the behaviorisms. I ask God to please please give them the strength to confront Savanna and get help for her. Savanna has a lover, Kori, and Kori is the one who introduced it to her(from what I hear). Kori also has an ex in prison for heroin use. I tried to stear Savanna away from Kori and it only drew them closer. My neice needs help. She needs to get away from Kori. Simply I want a miracle to happen. I am a miracle, so I know it can happen. I am just afraid because it's heroin ...and she could die easily. Please pray for Savanna Martin and her parents Toki and Tammy. Thank all of you so much and God bless everyone of you.
