I wasn't hear before Christmas, so here's wishing you all a Happy New Year.
My horse died on December 14th. I had to make the decision to have him put down. Even though I was 2,000 miles away it was very upsetting. I had had that horse since I was 28 years old. He got pneumonia and he couldn't eat anymore because his esophagus was blocked by the tumor and all the food was going into his lungs.
I hated so bad to pull the plug on his life, it's like the last of my youth was dying. But I guess we all have to get old and die someday.
Speaking of which, please pray for my health. I am really scared to have this surgery and I'm afraid it might be even more bad news when they run these things through pathology. I don't feel good but I'm trying to be positive. I have a second opinion appointment on January 11th. I'm ready to get this over with so I don't have it looming over my head anymore.
Anyway, be safe on New Years. My husband has rented us a place on the beach for New Year's Eve, so we'll be out of town.
