Posted by Rhonda1 on 10/9/2007, 10:38 am Yes Lisa, it is hard for me to wait on the Lord too at times. I know He does things in His own time and all, but I guess I am like you and I get so impatient. We now live three doors down from my ex husband and his new wife. ( Which is about to change as soon as we can.) But I see them go up the road with a new travel trailer and a new boat, and other things, and I see that and I wonder why others prosper and why we have NOTHING. It's been a little over two years, and I have to be able to say that I have been cancer free for three years in order to even get any life insurance. Our government STINKS!!!!! On a GOOD note... My husband is doing really well in his trucking school. He works 4-10 hour days, M-T and then he goes to school Fri & Sat. He should be doing his over the road training by the last of November. In the meantime, he is making $7.50 an hour at this place that makes small rolls of paper, from BIGGER rolls. He likes it, but get this. They put your money on like this atm card. They don't ask you if you want it, they just do it. Then he goes to pick up his pay they hand him this envelope and tell him all the instructions are inside. He brings it home to me cause he don't understand a lot of paper work at times anyhow. He had already went to the bank this card is on before he came home trying to get his paycheck off it, not knowing it had to be activated first.. lol. Anyways, with our phone cut off, my son was here, so he activated the card for him with his cell phone. So he goes to the atm across the street over here and it tells him the attempt is denied. Tried it later and same thing. He even took it back to that bank and they still can't help him cause the money is not there but on this account card. They say he can write himself a com-check, which was included in his packet. You have to call this number and get this authorization number to write on the front of the check. Take it and cash it at your bank and then they have to call and get an authorization number. Then you have to purchase these checks every week, they only GIVE you two. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck with your niece Lisa. I know what you're going thru cause I tried to help my brother and his new bride. When they first got married they went back to Florida with us to find work. They lived in the house with us, He worked with my husband ( ex now) Chat is is good to see you again too hun. You have been so faithful to this board. I am seldom on anymore, and when I am, I am always doing something in a hurry. Anyway it is always a pleasure to see old friends, although you don't complain much...lol... therefore I don't really know a lot about you.. I still keep your needs in my prayers. Until next time, I Love you both,

I still got the internet, although they turned my phone service off on the 4th of this month.. Folks tell me that it is because I have dsl and that it takes like a week later for it to be cut off, so any time now it will be clipped...lol.
Why we can't even find work, and pay bills, much less have any luxuries. I even wrote a song about it entitled: "The Rich Man and The Beggar."
By the way, I have now written 70 gospel songs since my breast cancer in 2005. We have 3 cd's that are copyrighted and 44 more songs to copyright for cd's. If we ever have the money.
Costs $45 now to copyright a cd.
We still have not got last week's paycheck off this blamed card, since we have no phone to call with, and I have no car to go to pay phone to call. The man at the station that has the ATM is a good friend and he even tried to help him get it to go thru, but NO LUCK. GEEEEES
will this crazy thing ever end???? Makes a person just want to give up, I tell you!!!
she babysitted for me while I worked. They both got paid, on top of free rent, free food, free laundry, etc. All she did all day was sit on her patootie and watch TV. I came home and cooked for all of us, did dishes, laundry and all without any help. Then she would tell my brother little things that my 3 year old was doing to aggitate her and he told me. I had had enough, I told him, " Look, this is Chris' home, you two are guests here, if you don't like it, then you are free to find your own place." My husband ended up going and renting them a place, and paying a deposit on it for them. We moved them out. They went back home to Tennessee when their rent was due again. Goodie Goodie..what a relief.
Rhonda
