It was interesting because that's the first time she's had an X Ray and despite her heavy weight, the doc was amazed that her spine seems to be in near perfect shape. The bad part was that it did show that one hip is just flat worn out, which I knew because a lot of times she has a hard time getting up. We've now got her on a very strict diet of Hill's Weight Loss food. I don't believe it is going to help but the doc says she will lose weight on it. We already feed her less than any dog that we have...excluding our little Shiz Tzu. But we were feeding Eukanuba Chicken. Sinatra weighed 95.8 pounds and she should weigh 60 at most. I don't understand why she is obese. We do not feed scraps. She gets a cup of dry food in the morning and a cup of dry food at night and one milk bone when she comes inside. But it's like the vet doesn't believe us when we tell him we are not feeding her anymore than that. This time, he acted all disgusted with us about her weight and so I decided to buy some of his expensive Hill's food and see. He assures me if I feed her a cup of that diet food in the morning, a cup at night and 1 milk bone, she will lose weight. We shall see. Anyway, she's doing a lot better. Everytime I think she's about ready to give up the ghost, she perks up and gets a second wind. And me, well, I'm feeling some better myself. I'm hoping that soon, I'll be back up to normal speed again. My voice isn't any better. But I think I'm going to give myself some time and see if my own body doesn't heal itself. and they did an XRay and she didn't have any stones, so they gave us a prescription of Bactrim.
