And with the State of Florida, I get Veteran's Preference by being the wife of a 100 Percent Disabled Veteran. The good part about the job is that it's part time 20 to 32 hours a week, depending on volume...and I can choose the hours, I can work 3 days and be off 4 days or I can work 5 four hour days, the possibilities are limitless. So I don't know, they are supposed to let me know something in one to two weeks. But it's the state and the state always moves very slow. So you have feet trouble too? CHat, my feet hurt me so bad that sometimes I can barely hobble out of bed. It's worse first thing in the morning. About the only truly comfortable shoes I have are Crocs (and you KNOW how ugly those are). The other shoes that work for me are those Earth shoes. They are expensive, you can get a catalog online. I've got two pairs of those and they are really good for my feet. I really haven't had good luck with the SAS type shoes. They are expensive and my feet still hurt when I wear them. I really think it's my weight that is causing the foot pain problems. As soon as I get this throat thing resolved, then my weight is going to become my top priority. all the internet "handles" I've got/had over the years. I'm always afraid I'll do that too, use the wrong handle on the wrong board. I actually, I got the nickname "Fluff" without choosing it. There was a guy on another board that posted with a dog's name and he got to calling me Fluff (as in his counterpart, Fluffy the Cat)...pretty soon everybody on that board was calling me Fluff rather than the nice pretty nickname that I had chosen, so I just became Fluff. The guy is long gone now, but I'm still stuck with the handle he gave me. Go figure.
