Simply because if it was something serious, it wouldn't be responding so well to the antibiotics. What I AM worried about is them spraying my throat to numb it. Isn't that ridiculous? It's just, I can't even use Chloraseptic, I cannot stand having my throat numb, it makes me gag. So I'm all worried about him spraying my throat and me throwing up in the office there. Hopefully God will hear my prayer and spare me on that. I really think that I'm finally on the verge of getting well. And I had to laugh about you getting flamed over your dogs being in the backyard. Do you know, the first place I posted on Acme was on the Cat board. And this lady was writing about how her cat was biting her and shredding her furniture with it's claws....and I posted that she should have it declawed and have it's canine teeth removed. hahahahahahaha! Don't you know I got flamed all over the place!!! They accused me of being a troll and everything else. The thing is, at that point in my life, I just didn't know any better. I also asked if the cat was a Siamese and stated that they were "mean". So I had all the Siamese cat people screaming at me too. It's a wonder I was ever brave enough to put up another post! Those were the days. I miss those Acme boards so much. I met Whisper, TriDog Mama and oh goodness, I can't remember the other lady's name, but she's still on LunasPlayhouse...oh yeah, Boot's Mom. Anyway, I don't think I made too good of an impression on any of them. I'm very awkward in real life, not good with social stuff, really what it boils down to is that I'm shy, but it comes out like I'm stuck up or something. And I always say the wrong thing. Anyway, though I did my best, the whole thing didn't go well at all and Whisper cut me out as an internet friend, never had anything else to do with me. Course, I met my husband now off of the internet, so I guess sometimes it can go well. Anyway, by this time tomorrow, I ought to know what's going on with my throat. Take Care,

I went to the Internal Medicine person, she put me on a heavy duty antibiotic. My throat has cleared up a whole lot, I'd say it's about 85 percent at this point. But she said, since it has been going on for so long, that she wanted me to go to an Ear Nose and Throat anyway. And she said he's probably going to want to run a scope down my throat. She said it wasn't any big deal, that they spray some stuff in my throat to numb it and then put this little tube down it to look at my vocal cords.
