MIL is still in the nursing home, and will remain there until her death, especially since they shocked her brain and killed all her active brain cells, making her a vegetable. They are not allowed to restrain them in the facilities anymore so they take care of them another way, so they can control them withouit having to chase them down all the time. I have not been to see her, as I cannot make myself go. I know I should. My ex husband,,( her son) asked me the other day if I had been and I told him NO.. he said I should be ashamed of myself.. I thought this kinda judgmental especially his visits were few and far bwtween when I was taking care of her. It really made me MAD!!! Jobs here are scarce, and we are struggling. God has also give us leads on jobs and brought us vloset o getting them, just to be turned down. But maybe you are right, may there is a lesson we are to learn from this. Times are just really hard for us right now, and owing my ex husband for light bills here, since they are in his name and we have not had the money to pay them, is especailly trying for me. But I know that God is about to deliver us and put us into something so SPECIAL... something that we would not have gotten otherwise if we had been elsewhere. So we are trusting in the Lord and His mighty miracles and blessings. I am so glad that things with you mom are settled down some, at least for now. It is so sad that people have to keep something stirred up all the time... never smiling or giving anyone a kind word. And you're right to think you might regret retaliating in regards to something she may say or do to you. We never know when we will lose a loved one and may never see them again. But it's all comes down to being a bigger and better person.. STRONGER if you will. Just know that you are in my prayers and that I think of you often. God bless and keep you. the rapture is VERY near and that if we ONLY knew how close it is..we would all be getting our acts together. I am reading the Left Behind series through for the second time,, this time with my husband and I am getting a lot more out of it than when I read it by myself.
