Posted by Wauchula Woman on 2/27/2007, 8:23 pm, in reply to "Hope everyone is doing well so far this year!" My mother will be ok for awhile and then right back up to her nastiness. I haven't spoken to her since last February, but I do e-mail her. I feel more in control of things via e-mail. Last weekend, I have to admit, I finally got nasty with her and I was promptly ashamed of myself. I started worrying she would die and that e-mail would have been the last thing I sent her. That wouldn't be good. So of course, she didn't die, and I learned a valuable lesson about that. I'm not going to be hateful to her anymore, no matter how bad she pushes my buttons. Rhonda, I just don't know. You know I'm not pro euthanasia, I think it's against God's will. But I have to think, sometimes, that we treat our ailing pets better than we treat humans. When an animal is suffering, we give it a shot and put it down. I wouldn't let my dog suffer on the way that I've seen people suffer on. And the treatments for our terminal illnesses are often times worse than the illness itself. I don't know what the answer is other than to pray that God takes our loved ones swiftly when the time comes. And I agree with you Rhonda, I think Armageddon is fast approaching. I hope that means that the rapture is near! Take Care, Love to you all. WW

Things are going fairly well here. I still haven't found another job. I thought I was real close to getting this high paying job at the electric company. I can't figure out what went wrong in that interview.....I thought the interview went great and I was more than qualified for the job. And it was weird, it was almost like a Godsend job opening. I don't know why the Lord put it there in front of me if I wasn't going to get it. I suppose there was some lesson to be learned in it, but evidently I'm too dense to figure it out.
