Posted by Rhonda1 on 10/2/2006, 10:05 am, in reply to "Finally some movement on the......" My situation has somewhat changed since we spoke. Speaking of my ex.. he got married Friday night to a girl he has only known for about a month or so...He got to take a honeymoon and I had to babysit his mother on mine.. I am VERY angry with him right about now. Not because he remarried , ( cause I beat him to the punch) BUT... just the smirky look on his face when he said he was going on his honeymoone... GRRRRRRRRRRR. Well, I got to start job hunting pretty soon,, and to tell you the truth I am scared to death.. I have been out of the public eye and stuck in here for so long... I don't know where to begin. Will write more, God bless and keep your chin up. Like I have always told you.. God is in control, and He will work it all out for you. I Love you, (((((((hugs)))))))))

I am so glad that things seem to be working themselves out between you and your mother, Lisa.
Sometimes we just have to be patient as we wait upon the Lord to perform His miracles, but in the meantime, the love is still there between you and your mom and always will be. Just continue to pray, Lisa and trust God for the words to speak and the actions to take where she is concerned.
She'll come around, you'll see.
My MIL has been signed into the nursing home about 13 or so miles from her home. They have not taken her in yet, because the lady told us that it takes aobut 10 days to get her registered and her paper work squared with the state of Tennessee. It has been 14 days tomorrow. NOt sure why they are stalling on this.. I figured they might be waiting until the first of the month to admit her.. today is the 2nd and still no word from them. She is in a stage where she yells for hours on end. Screams one minute and cries the next. Always yelling and repremending her grandson Bubba for something...(or in this case, for NOTHING.) She yells until she has no more breath left in her,, then yells some more. GEEES...where does she get all that energy? I am just so afraid she will have a heart attack or something while I am here alone with her.
Anyway it should be anytime now when they call for my ex to bring her.
I would love to have a secretarial job, but they seem to lean to small slender types for that. I can't stand on my feet for very long at a time, and I have carpel tunnel in both hands and arms.. Geeees... WHERE DO I START? What kind of jobs are even out there for someone with all my problems?? Surely something will open up for me soon.
Rhonda
