The fact that you guys are on here talking negatively and positively about the event means that the event was a success. Iím not running 40 events a year...ever! Im not a director nor do I want to be. As a player who has been taken care of by an association and manufacturer for a long time I felt it was in my best interest to give back. I know thatís probably not in your nature to feel you owe the people who support you anything but I do. We will continue to do these events and hopefully you guys will keep talking about them. |
Like most major players I play both associations and enjoy them both. Iím thankful that so many major players and local teams were able to come out. It was refreshing to visit with people about their Softball goals, my past experiences in the game, the difference between USA Softball and USSSA, and the state of our game. Marketing 101 is putting your product in peopleís hands. Let them swing the bat and make their own choice and hope they see the difference. Thatís what we did and will continue to do.
