I am sure a couple of suspensions are warranted.
SS likely let the 1 on 1 go instead of getting involved since he likely enjoys playing the game and would hate for the sponsor to see two players suspended instead of one.
What I never understood in these types of brawls why when players run out to the scrum, why there is always that 1 dude that brings the bat out there. Sure he did not use it, or intended to use it, but in the unwritten rule world we live in, you have to drop the bat.
In the NBA you get ejected if you leave the bench, maybe USSSA can look into this type of formula in terms of brawls/scrums that occur in a game. Also, even if there is no intent, if a player runs out there with bat in hand, they should be subjected to a possible ejection/suspension also.
