I know other pitchers who complained bitterly about the mandatory screen until they got used to it. Now they don't want to pitch without it.
For my part, I don't like having to dress up like a hockey goalie - especially on 90 degree days. That forces one to sacrifice comfort for safety. And having to put on and remove the extra gear every half-inning throughout the game is just too much of a hassle.
I don't get on this board to continuously rant on this issue but I will express my own opinion when the topic comes up. Finally, I'm not in the business of taking polls on the screen, but I have a bit of a sense that resistance to the idea of the screen is melting somewhat.
