Topic one. Steroids... I believe It is like the seat belt law. click it or ticket. I'm a grown man If I want to wear the damn thin I will, If not then so be it. It is up to the player to decide.
Topic two. Donnie. I believe that most of us know a dad will do anything to help his son. I also believe JR didn't need his help. Jr was always a good player. You have to have friends to get on those type of teams. That is where he got the help. It took his good play to stay there I promise you that. I'n life those kind of friends come in handy.
Topic 3 Bottom line I believe that who ever was hot at Disney, that team would win. I saw it on the tube but couldn't tell who was the hottest. Travis could have won just as easy as Dan or JD. all three had good teams. Then Stucko got hot so Who knows. I wish JD hadn't left like he did. I know his team would have done well maybee have won it.
Topic 4 I wish Don wouldn't have used that machine behind the plate. What little intregreaty we had as a sport is now gone. Now all corporate and other potential sponsors think we are all bad apples. That is why you Check the bats at the start then put it away. We all know that the players that get special treatment get the special treatment. I only hope that noone gets thrown out for tryin to win a damn game. It is only human nature to win and get an edge to win. We all do and will keep doin so.
Topic 5 Usssa and company. I have the utter most respect for these guys. I know a lot of them personally and nobody is perfect. All have had their moments but for the most part they are honnest people. They or should I say we as tournament directors will do anything for a 100 team tournament. Life is hard so when you can make a little do it.
Topic 6 In life there is no way or how "Fair". Things are just the way they are. Life for the most part suxs..well some times it smells like a rose. iT NEVER RUNS SMOOTH. Now for guys like your self. Ya b###h until someone listens. These message boards are great for ya to b###h when you think it isn't fair. It will never change a thing. Espically on a softball field. We all play for that W. We all play for fun yes. But you tell me a player that excepts loosing and was happy to be there but at the end looses and I'll show you a looser. It is that simple. I also know you know this. You like to jerk chains like everyone else on here. Tim Life is too short to worry about who hits with a juice bat, Who gets juiced bats from the factories, who does juice. Life is just a bunch of haves and hav not's. We play the game because we all love it. Some gripe and some don't. Every now and then and you get to beat the umpire, the juiced bats, the extra high paid players, the special favors and draws by the tournament directors. I've seen it all. I have also been on the down side of this. It is still played on the field. It is still underhanded.
Topioc 7 I believe that the upper level of softball should be unlimited homeruns. ... This should do ya for awhile. rayray
