It depends on the sanctioning body. USSSA allows 100mph bats and below (except the Ultra and UltraII), whereas ASA only allows 98mph bats, for example. You need to check with your local league coordinator or tourney director, etc. - most can provide you with a list of the illegal bats for the intended activity.
