What if legendary Horror Host Zacherley had to bow out of an episode of "Shock Theater," and asked The Horror Host Underground to take over for him for the night?
Tonight, at 10:30pm, on cable channel 10 in Western Chicagoland, it's another of the much-loved HHU group productions come to life, as we present Cleveland born model/actress Virginia Leith in "The Brain That Wouldn't Die!" This one was conceived by Florida Horror Host Lon Madnight, and features Lon, Gravely Macabre of "Midnight Monster Hop," Penny Dreadful, Remo D and the "Manor Of Mayhem" gang, Dr, Pureblood, Halloween Jack, Queen Nocturna & I, and Dr. Dreck!
Dr. Dreck produced, and pieced this one together, using a shortened print of the movie obtained from Count Gore De Vol. I've taken the finished product, removed the abbreviated movie, and replaced it with my own moderately sound insert-riddled full-length version of this immortal classic, and incorporated a brief bit of footage produced by fellow Chicagoland Horror Host Undead Johnny, and I hope that you all enjoy it!
Then, stay tuned for more of the dashing Dr. Dreck, as he's joined by cutie pie Moaner The Zombie Cheerleader, and the rest of the "Dungeon Of Dr. Dreck" posse! After such a sad week, and with this priceless Summer weather at hand, it only makes sense that we return to the drive-in with Dreck & Moaner, and forget our troubles, if only for a few hours, and take in a special outdoor screening of Roger Corman's "Creature From The Haunted Sea!" This one's basically a remake of Corman's earlier "Beast From Haunted Cave," and a spoof at that! While it may be hard for some of you to believe that a Roger Corman film could be intentionally hilarious, but let's not forget Nocturna's fave "Little Shop Of Horrors." Check out the terrifying monster, swoon to the title song, sung by co-star Besty Jones-Moreland, and enjoy the antics of one of the finest Horror Host teams ever!
Summer's here, and the time is right!
