That's right, mortals. Tonight is the night that WCIU broadcasts Rich Koz's 30th anniversary of being (The Son Of) Svengoolie. What a milestone, one likely to never be equaled in Chicagoland.
So, when one is a fellow Chicagoland-based Horror Host, what do you air in *your* local (remember, we're currently seen on 39 stations in 21 states) timeslot on the same night as this historic event? Well, if you're The BONE JANGLER, and I most certainly am, you pull a seldom seen classic of your own, full of sound inserts, out of the vaults, dust it off, and allow loyal viewers an opportunity to enjoy it. I won't tell you which movie is being presented. You'll just have to see for yourself.
Following "The BONE JANGLER," it's Dr. Dreck and Moaner The Zombie Cheerleader, as they hit the drive-in for a special screening of "Werewolf In A Girl's Dormitory!" Dreck and Moaner will be spending much of the Summer season at the drive-in, and we'll be presenting many more of their shows over the next few months!
Now, what will *I* be watching tonight? At 9pm, I'll be tuning in to WCIU, and watching our pal Sven host Bert I. Gordon's "Attack Of The Puppet People," chock full of Svensurround, and classic clips from the last 30 years! At 11pm, I'll switch over to channel 10 for the rest of the night's festivities. Maybe you should do likewise.
All Hail Sven!
