I can't imagine that it's very easy to make these shows. Not if there is to be any degree of quality to them. The lady has her fans and, I consider myself to be one of them. I'm sure that Miss Dreadful tapes her show where she must and sometimes that means having to deal with sweltering heat.
I agree that Penny Dreadful would appear to be more reliant on her co-stars. Her schtick works best when bouncing off of the others.
Also, the movie ['Craze'] wasn't slow. It may not have been everyone's cup of tea but, it was far from slow. It wouldn't surprise me if the guys on Dark Vault Of Public Domain aired this one someday. Anyway, if you think about it, 'The Gorilla' is a MUCH slower movie. Without the Jangler's signature sound FX that movie would've got old really fast whereas if Jangler ran 'Craze' on his program I doubt he'd add any.
