We stopped watching too. Quite primitive in his approach to say the least. Props to him for doing what he wants to do. It's just too bad that his work suffers from lack of access to professional equipment. Kudos to Dead Wood, but I'm afraid that it just wasn't our cup of tea. Mr. Jangler's trip down memory land, however, was most enjoyable.
