Hey Sol,
Don't spend another moment thinking! It only lasted 2 episodes! lol. Basically after 50 shows we needed kind of a palette clenser and a little something different...and we took my love for SCTV to the extreme for two CHANNEL 666 PRIMETIME MOVIE episodes. It was going to be an ongoing thing...but I missed the old show and characters more than I thought I would--and we also had some very supportive, but yet I could tell disappointed, fans. They weren't too sure what to think of it either.
So we're back doing the WORLD OF THE WEIRD MONSTER SHOW. But I will say without that little break and the 20 odd sketches we did for the two episodes, WOWMS may never have come back after our 50th episode. But now we're back and--I think--better than ever. So the PRIMETIME MOVIE episodes can kind of be seen as an unique curio.
