Funny you should say that, GR.
Originally, I was going to do something more elaborate. However, at that point 2 of the studio's record decks went out on us. These are the decks that are connected to the mixers, and EQs, that we rely on to produce the shows. So, having to rely on your blasted mortal technology, we were stuck with using inferior equipment, which resulted in the multiple layers of thunder, rain, wind, cackling, and background music being at odds with our own audio. When I realized that the show would be compromised, I decided to make it more of an "intimate" affair.
All in all, I think it worked, nonetheless. Of course, when the decks are back from repairs, I'll go back in, and re-edit those spots, and, when that show is re-aired, you'll hear things exactly the way that they were intended to be heard.
