Kids love it, but as mentioned, they tend to let the tone quality suffer and the tempo speed up when they get excited. We work a lot with a metronome. Tuning (esp concert C & Db) and unison parts. section at 23: contrasting dynamic lines. precision of percussion at 58 coming off the fermata. Contrasting scales at 71, and keeping the ending at only forte. When they slip into bad habbits, I like to make them play parts (esp the end) in long chorale style to remind them to concentrate on sound quality.
