If you're a teacher in Texas, you usually don't need CPE credits. |
Every single minute of in-service you perform in district counts for CPE credit, especially if they ever bring in an outside presenter.
If you attend TBA, you can accrue about 20 hours of CPE there. Same with TMEA.
Also, all of those ESC compliance training sessions you go through are worth about 10 CPE credits a year.
Finally - no one EVER checks when you renew.
Unless your admin is making you get XX number of credits, or you're not employed as a teacher, don't go out of your way trying to find any. You have plenty.
