Tie Downs - |
You can't have too many. Recessed floor tie down are essential for the floor. D-Rings or strap rails on the walls - try to get 2 levels - one high and one low.
Do not skimp on the tie downs - use industrial quality and make sure they are installed onto the structure of the trailer, not the just screwed into a wall panel.
Lift Gate -
Get one. They can be added later, if you can't get the whole thing now. This is a safety issue. Some truck beds are over 4' off the ground - with no lift gate, you might be trying to lift 300 lbs of speakers and carts off the truck. If all you have is a ramp, you will then have to push said speakers up a truly lovely incline.
Ratchet straps - do not rely on 1" wide ratchet straps to keep cargo from shifting. These are meant for holding cargo down, not to keep stuff from sliding around the back of your truck. Go to Northern Tool and buy about 50 of the big yellow ones (About $10 each if you catch them on sale, normally about $15ea)
