Today more than I can recall, the political arena is a toxic place to share any opinion. I would suggest unfriending, block, delete, unfollow or whatever you need to do to avoid this parent. There will be times when being silent is far better than proving you are right. Best of luck to you. |
: Here is a new one for me:
: I'm being cyber-bullied by a parent of a
: student I do not teach to the extent that
: they are reaching out to my future employer
: (Already offered a contract) to try and get
: me fired before I can even start.
: I have not acted in any way that I am
: ashamed of, and I have done nothing wrong.
: All I have done was disagree with this
: parent over the need to fund a well-rounded
: education (I was for it).
: But this is a new windmill in a what has
: become a quixotic profession. I just
: refuse to be bullied for advicating.
: But, I wanted to remind everyone again to
: always act in a way you can defend and that
: will allow you to sleep well at night. That
: way it's easy to defend yourself.
: It's a jungle out there.
