Now, if you're referring to the occasional faculty meeting before/after contract hours, it's not worth "climbing that hill." If it's something that you're being "assigned" to do regularly, beyond your contract hours, it does not apply.
Typically, "other duties as assigned" applies to hallway/cafeteria duty, STAAR proctoring, etc. It's not a "catch all" to justify abuse of salaried employees.
