As someone who doesn't have $70 a pop to purchase copies of music (or $15 per for scores) that may not ever make it onto the PML, it should be incumbent upon publishers to submit more pieces to the list. Barring that, the frequent request of "The PML committee should form a subcommittee dedicated to adding pieces on the Grade 1 and Grade 2 lists" is a valid one - they could recruit veteran directors with established music libraries and/or publishers/ composers who have access to this music at cost.
