Re: Clarinets Crossing the Break
I find that it's often the ring finger that's the issue. They can play D fine, but when they reach for the pinky keys it pulls their ring finger off the hole.
This is especially common in kids with small hands.
My JH Clarinets are having a hard time crossing the break. Specifically going from A to B or A to C.....They can get D and higher no problem though.
Are there any exercises or anything else I can use to help them out with that? Especially something that would help while in the full band setting
