We stay outside, take more frequent water breaks, make drinking cold water mandatory even if they don't feel thirsty, make sunscreen mandatory and and drape the children's necks/heads with wet/frozen wash cloths (previously prepared) at regular intervals while they are learning drill. Boosters love their washcloth job. Further, you must be in the shade for the entire duration of all water breaks (usually less than 3 min). Also, I do not ask them to stand perfectly still for any longer than necessary to clean a set.
Only if I see the rehearsal pace slow in spite of these measures, is it time to go into indoor sectionals. The ambient temp outside doesn't mean much. You have a non-negligible chance at being made to perform under such conditions for pre-uil, so better start conditioning the kiddos now.
This is NT. It's a totally different ballgame, however, if it's above 50% humidity up here with those temps.
